Background
I found the solution to my oily pimple/acne problem after years of struggling myself. I tried everything from pimple products that dries my skin to long term antibiotics. Nothing worked……..Until I was told to go for a deep cleansing facial and tissue oil treatment at an Aesthetician. While doing the treatment I was explained how the skin works and this knowledge propelled me to get rid of my pimples within two weeks.
My Finding
- For a oily skin you need to apply more facial cream or tissue oil (2 x per day)
- For a dry skin you need to apply less cream or tissue oil (every second day)
- Until problem is solved and then once daily.
I did not make a *typo mistake above!!! When I understood that my oily skin needs moisturiser, I applied cream morning and night. First 8 days my pimples increased and became bigger, then that following week no new ones appeared and never again returned.
This happened back in 1998 and has never returned. Read the science behind it to understand how it works.
Science Behind the Finding

Skin is a living organ and regulates the amount of oil it needs to produce for it to be healthy with the sebaceous glands. ((https://www.britannica.com/science/sebaceous-gland))
It will keep on producing amount of oil that is required for the skin to be healthy. The factors influencing the amount of oil generated is dependant on external and internal factors. If you keep adding products that will dry out your “oily” skin, your sebaceous glands will produce too much oil. If your skin produces excessive amounts of oil, then your pores will easily clog up. It produces what is required to balance the amount of oil the skin requires. If you have a dry skin due to external or internal factors your skin will produce more oil. ((https://skinbetter.com/skin-needs-oil-keep-balanced))
External Factors((https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Factors-affecting-sebum-production-in-humans_fig2_301552120)):
- Environmental (Air, Humidity, Temperature, Chlorine in water ect.)
- Skin Care products
Internal Factors:
- Hormones
Summary
Thinks about it this way: The skin tells the sebaceous glad “I am dry please send more oil” the gland generates more oil. You notice your skin generates too much oil and apply skin products that dry your skin. Now the skin asks for more oil and so it continues….. Until you give the skin oil the skin will not ask for more oil from the glands anymore.
Hope this information helps you.
